Iron Boosting Jaffa Bowl


Ingredients

  • 3 oranges

  • 2 cups baby spinach

  • 1 cup kale 1/4 cup water

  • 1 Tbsp cacao powder

  • 1 Tbsp cacao nibs

  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

  • 1/2 Tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 tsp spirulina powder

  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

OPTIONAL:4 drops

Wild Orange Essential Oil

(DoTerra or similar brand)


Directions

  1. Peel the oranges. Roughly chop all fruit and veg.

  2. Place the oranges, greens, water, cacao nibs, sesame seed sand spirulina into a blender and blend until smooth.

  3. Add the cacao powder, chia seeds, ice, and, if using, the orange essential oil. Blend until thick and smooth.

  4. Spoon into a bowl and top with chunks of orange, chia, sesame seeds and cacao nibs.

Tip: For a thicker, creamier bowl, add a frozen banana or freeze theoranges proior to using
