Hazelnut Milk


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water

  • 1 cup hazelnuts, soaked for 4 hours

  • 3 medjool dates

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 6 ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high for 3minutes, until smooth.

  2. Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag.

  3. Bottle the liquid and refrigerate. Best consumed within 48 hours.

  • Per serve: 160 calories

  • Carbs: 17g

  • Fat: 11g

  • Protein: 3g

Tip: Dry out the hazelnut meal in a dehyrdator to make hazelnut flour. Thiscan be used to thicken smoothies or in raw cookies and slices.
